One of my favorite things to see in a school, and here at St. Francis, is seeing kids enjoying a good book. Even more so, as an educator, when kids get so excited about their reading, they refuse to put the book down (even when the teacher or mom or dad says to do so). Today here at St. Francis, we celebrate Read Across America. Thank you to Mrs. Hajduk, Ms. Dalton, and Ms. Racavich for putting together today's festivities as we celebrate a culture of reading there at St. Francis.
