St. Francis Cathedral School held its first ever Trunk or Treat on October 24th in the Cathedral parking lot and it was a huge success! The event was proudly hosted by the SFCS Home School Association (HSA) who did an incredible job organizing a night full of community spirit and family fun.

The evening brought ideal fall weather and an amazing turnout. Dozens of trunks were decorated by families and friends of our students showcasing amazing creativity and festive flair. Some even included games for the children to enjoy. One crowd favorite was a Ghostbusters themed pickup truck complete with working sirens that kids could activate themselves.

Adding to the excitement, Texas Roadhouse of North Plainfield joined the fun cooking and selling food on site. Their delicious food was a big hit and we extend a heartfelt thank you for their generous support of our school community.

The evening also featured a Best Trunk Contest with the top prize going to an enchanting Wizard of Oz themed trunk which delighted both kids and adults alike.

As students trick or treated and played in a safe family friendly environment, the night wrapped up with the highly anticipated 50/50 raffle drawing where the jackpot reached an incredible $30,000.

A huge thank you goes out to the members of our HSA for making this wonderful event possible and to everyone who volunteered, participated and supported our school community. It was truly a magical evening filled with laughter, joy and Halloween cheer. We can’t wait to make Trunk or Treat a new St. Francis Cathedral School tradition!
