On November 30th, St. Francis Cathedral School held its first ever Advent Wreath Make & Take event, a new tradition that brought together parish and school families to celebrate the start of the Christmas season. Hosted by the HSA and organized by Jennifer Pitoscia and Christine Tobin, the afternoon offered a warm, faith-filled experience for all who attended.
Families purchased Advent Wreath Kits to support SFCS and were given the option to take their kits home or assemble them right in the SFCS cafeteria. Many chose to stay, filling the room with conversation, laughter, and fellowship. Kits were distributed to each family, who then built their wreaths entirely from scratch, resulting in a beautiful display of creativity, personal touches, and shared excitement for the Advent season.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, HSA Hospitality provided a delightful hot chocolate bar complete with cookies, giving families a sweet treat as they worked on their wreaths.
This special event brought the parish and school communities together in a meaningful way, marking the beginning of a season centered on hope, preparation, and joy. We wish all SFCS families a blessed and peaceful Christmas season.
