βͺοΈYesterday we closed out Catholic Schools Week with our noon Mass celebrated by Fr. Christy. Our SFCS students did an excellent job reading, singing and bringing up the gifts. After Mass, the campus was open for visitors to see the classrooms and meet the teachers. The student council members gave informative tours to prospective families.π« #SFCS
πThis afternoon, we βCelebrated our Faculty and Staffβ. Our Home School Association (HSA) hosted the annual luncheon for our much deserving faculty and staff.πWe are so appreciative of all that our teachers, staff, and administration team do to make SFCS the best place for our students!π« # SFCS
β€οΈToday the SFCS student council executive board hosted breakfast for the wonderful volunteers that do so much for our school. π€Franciscan Friar, Brother Gabriel Cortez captivated our students this morning with hisπΉskateboarding skills sharing his message of faith with our students. He performed daring feats with his skateboard jumping over our teachers to show the importance of trust in our faith journeys.βοΈ #SFCS
πThe SFCS CYO was overflowing with school spirit today as the 8th grade classes took on the faculty in the annual volleyball game. The students had a great time cheering for all of the players. Our mascot, the Crusader really revved up the crowd!π£ #SFCS

The students worked together to hunt around the school for mini Jesus figurines. βοΈToday students from PreK - 8th grade "Celebrated our Community" by assembling "Blessing Bags" full of toiletries, snack and personal care products donated from all our generous school families. Half of the bags were brought over to our Parish Pastoral Center to the Director of Social Concerns, Bidgie Williamson who delivered them to the Ozanam Shelter. The other half was dropped off by Security Guard Tony at the New Dover United Methodist Church where they will be packed up with lunches for the homeless and delivered to St. Joseph Social Service in Elizabeth. There they will distributed to communties in need. It was was such a wonderful day at SFCS to see how our charitable actions can help so many people in need.π #SFCS
β¨As part of Dr. Macalusoβs βWellness Programβ, our middle school students set goals for themselves. The children learned that writingπgoals down helps to gain clarity, focus, accountability, motivation, and a sense of direction. The students can see how their daily choices connect to future success. Dr. Macaluso explained that not all goals are achieved, and that is okay; but setting goals help shape a positive mindset and encourage growth.π#SFCS
β¨Our PreK and Kindergarten classes had a fantastic time entertaining guests in their classrooms yesterday. They built βοΈsnowmen, painted π¨pictures and enjoyed delicious πpizza with their parents, grandparents and guardians. Our campus is blessed to have so many young students enrolled to learn and grow at our school.π₯° #SFCS
β¨Catholic Schools Week is in full swing as we celebrated our SFCS families today. The classrooms were full of family members eager to see all the wonderful things happening in our classrooms.
