We will be dedicating the Cathedral Plaza to Our Lady of the Angels on September 7th after the 12PM mass, with the blessing of a new statue of Our Lady that will be overseeing our new plaza. After the dedication, we will have light refreshments and hospitality courtesy of the Cathedral Altar Rosary Society.

The Cathedral of St. Francis will be dedicating a statue to the Sacred Heart of Jesus after the 12:10 PM mass on Wednesday, August 27. Please join us in praying for those who are battling addiction or have lost their battle to addiction. May the devotion to the Sacred Heart be one of great hope, grace, and compassion for those of us and our love ones impacted by the struggles of addiction. “This divine heart, which let itself be pierced by an enemy’s lance in order, has never ceased to love.”-St. Daniel Comboni

August 15 is the Feast of the Assumption, a Holy Day of Obligation

Tonight, Thursday, August 14th, there will be a 5:00 PM Vigil Mass that fulfills this obligation.
