😃The “Countdown to Summer” continues in Sister Jo’s Kindergarten class. The students did “L” for limbo and “O” for outside📖reading. The children are excited to see what’s in store for each new letter as they count their school🏫days down.🚌 #SFCS









🦋PreK A released their butterflies - Qt Pie, Love, Butterbean, Cookie, and Flitter at SFCS yesterday. PreK B joined them as they prayed for the butterflies to have a safe venture out into the world!🌎 #SFCS








🇺🇸Students in Mrs. Adinolfi’s 5th grade social studies class shared their research reports with their classmates on the Founding Fathers. Each student researched and 📝wrote a informative five paragraph report. Then, they channeled their creative side to 🎨illustrate a one of a kind cover. Our students are truly embracing their patriotic side as we near Memorial Day weekend!😃#SFCS

Great work to all of our students, teachers, and volunteers who helped put together such a wonderful production! 🦁👏
🚧 Cathedral bathroom renovations are also now underway, continuing our efforts to care for and improve our Cathedral facilities for all who worship and gather here.

🤝Our Helping Hands hosted a “Baby🍼Shower” to support Life Choices. The students collected various baby👶🏻items from each class. The items were sorted and then picked up by Lorraine at Life Choices. What a great service project that will benefit so many babies!😃 #SFCS










💐Our Kindergartners hosted their Moms in class yesterday morning.🥰The children served them breakfast, did a word search together and shared their special projects with them. They ended by singing their moms a special song.🎶 #SFCS










✨Students in Miss Welle’s 5th grade classes created a “Mass in the Box” project to creatively represent the Eucharist and the importance of the Last Supper in our Catholic✝️faith. Through symbols, prayers, and sacred items, they demonstrated their understanding of Jesus’ gift of Himself at the Last Supper and the true meaning of the Mass.🙏🏻 #SFCS

✨Dr. Macaluso presented the final “Wellness Series” to our middle school students today. They spoke about “Gratitude” and how it is more than saying “thank you,” but a mindset that encourages appreciation, even during challenging times. They explored values, decision-making, and the influence of social media on identity and choices. The goal was to inspire students to develop greater appreciation for themselves, their families, teachers, and friends, while fostering a more faith-filled positive, and mindful, outlook.😃 #SFCS







🍬The HSA provided a sweet🍫treat for our SFCS teachers today. 🍭They set up a scrumptious candy bar in the teachers’ lounges to show them how much they are appreciated and loved. 📣Special shout out to Danielle Velona and HSA Co-Treasurers, Allison Rizzo and Goldie Tiu for all their hard work in making today so sweet!😃 #SFCS










🔎Mrs. Masset’s 2nd grade class started their unit on🪲insects and🪴plants this week. They observed 🪱mealworms, created a habitat for them, and learned what living organisms need to survive.👨🏽🔬👩🏻🔬#SFCS

👨🏻🏫👩🏼🏫This week we are celebrating “Teacher Appreciation Week” at SFCS. Our Home School Association (HSA) has been busy showering our faculty and staff with lots of goodies! Special thanks goes out to Danielle Velona for helping to organize the wonderful event today. 🚓SFCS PreK classes went on their field trip yesterday to the Metuchen Police Department. They really enjoyed meeting 👮🏼♂️Corporal Casey Klein and 👮🏼Officer Jessica Roca. The officers took them to the processing room, holding cells and storage area. They even got to beep the horn and run the sirens 🚨in a police🚔car! 🥰Special thanks go out to the Metuchen Police Department for taking the time to meet with them. 🌟Thank you for your service! #SFCS
