πŸ‘¨πŸ½β€πŸ”¬πŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸ”¬Our 4th & 5th grade classes came together today to work on an β€œEaster Peep πŸ₯ Dissolving Experiment”. The students observed peeps in four different liquids - soda, juice, water and vinegar. Then, they completed a chart documenting their predictions and findings. It was a sweet 🐣way to kick off our Holy✝️Easter Week. #SFCS

Avery’s journey of faith has led to this momentβ€”entering the Catholic Church at the Great Easter Vigil at 8:00 PM.

πŸŽ₯ Listen to Avery’s story below and see how God has been at work.

πŸ™ Please keep Avery and the 14 catechumens in your prayers as they prepare to be welcomed into the Church this Easter.

β€œAsk and you shall receive; knock and the door will be opened… After two years of searching, I discovered that the truth I was seeking was not just an idea, but a Person who knows and loves me. Through OCIA, I encountered Christ more deeply and found a home in His Church.”

Here at the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi, journey with Sarah this Paschal Triduum as she prepares to enter the Catholic Church at the Great Easter Vigil at 8:00 PM on Saturday, April 4th

πŸŽ₯ Hear her powerful testimony and witness how God is at work in her life.

πŸ™ Please join us in prayer for the 14 catechumens who will be welcomed into the Church this Easter.

β€œComing into the Catholic Church through OCIA has been one of the most meaningful decisions of my life. This journey deepened my faith and taught me to trust God more fully. Director Tina Rossi led the program with such care and intention, creating a space where I felt encouraged, supported, and truly seen. This parish has become a place where my faith feels alive and rooted.”

🫰🏻Mrs. Stanicki’s 6th grade science classes learned about the sense of touch by testing sensory receptors on their fingertips and knuckles. Students had to close their eyes and guess the number of Braille dots that their partners put under their fingers. The class has also explored virtual 3D simulations showing receptors in the skin and felt mystery objects inside paper bags. The 6th grade is really getting in touch with β€œtouch”!πŸ‘«SFCS
